Nissan, BYD, Fiat (RAM) take home awards at Fleet LatAm Conference
The 2023 edition of the Fleet LatAm Conference hosted the Fleet LatAm Car Awards on Monday (September 25), highlighting the most sought-after vehicles in Latin America's corporate fleets and here are the winners. The selection process for the Fleet LatAm Car Awards was a collaborative effort that includes the most important players in the industry. Besides Leasing Companies from across Latin America contributed their insights, Fleet Managers operating in Latin America provided input based on real-world usage and practical considerations. The goal of the Car Awards is to underline the importance of OEMs in supporting LatAm businesses with safe, sustainable and affordable vehicles.
The winners are:
- Car of the Year: Nissan Versa, also the best-slling car of the year in Mexico, 2022
- EV of the Year: BYD Yuan Plus, also the best-selling EV in Colombia, 2022
- LCV of the Year: Fiat Strada (RAM 700 in Mexico), also the best-selling vehicle in Brazil, 2022
The awards were handed out by Caroline Thonnon and Thierry Degives, CEOs of Nexus Communications and Publishers of Fleet Latam.
