All-new Hyundai Tucson: most electrified powertrain line-up yet

Hyundai has unveiled the fourth generation of its bestselling Tucson SUV. Its exterior design is a radical departure from previous generations, and so is the high-tech interior. It will also be available as a hybrid, plug-in hybrid, mild hybrid.

The all-new Tucson is a global model that will be produce in several factories worldwide.

Its bigger and wider body gives it a more muscular stance and what Hyundai calls Parametric Dynamics.

The interior promises segment-leading technology with a 10.25-inch screen in the centre of the vehicle that will be used to control all heat, ventilation and air conditioning functions by touch. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available.

The Tucson will include the latest version of the Bluelink connected car services, including Connected Routing, Last Mile Navigation and a new User Profile feature. Drivers can also locate their vehicle, lock and unlock it remotely and view vehicle attributes like fuel level via a Bluetooth app.

Aside the electrified powertrains, Hyundai will also offer the new Tucson with a choice of internal combustion engines without an electric motor.
