Via unveils autonomous bus service in Australia

Residents of a senior citizen community in New South Wales, Australia, can now hail a self-driving bus to reach their destination. BusBot is a partnership between Busways and EasyMile and it marks Via’s first autonomous vehicle deployment in the world.

Via is an American transportation network company and real-time ridesharing company that operates in New York, Chicago and Washington, DC. In London, Amsterdam, Berlin and Milton Keynes, Via operates through ViaVan, a joint venture with Mercedes-Benz Vans.
